Rightmove plc ("Rightmove"), the UK's no. 1 property website, announces that on
25 July 2008 it purchased 42,792 of its 1p ordinary shares at a volume weighted
average price paid per share of 282.4875p. The highest price paid per share was
290.00p and the lowest price paid per share was 273.00p.

The shares purchased have been cancelled.

Rightmove has purchased, to date 11,458,490 of its own shares since announcing
a share buy-back programme on 28 December 2007.

The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) at the
date of this announcement is 117,941,488. Rightmove holds 2,505,430 shares in
treasury.
