Rightmove plc ("Rightmove"), the UK's no. 1 property website, announces that on
29 July 2008 it purchased 12,144 of its 1p ordinary shares at a volume weighted
average price paid per share of 270.8617p for Cancellation. The highest price
paid per share was 273.25p and the lowest price paid per share was 268.25p.

Rightmove has purchased, to date 11,520,634 of its own shares since announcing
a share buy-back programme on 28 December 2007.

The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) at the
date of this announcement is 117,879,344. Rightmove holds 2,505,430 shares in
treasury.
