Rightmove plc ("Rightmove"), the UK's no. 1 property website, announces that on
14 May 2008 it purchased 50,000 of its 1p ordinary shares at a volume weighted
average price paid per share of 382.53p. The highest price paid per share was
382.58p and the lowest price paid per share was 382.33p. Rightmove purchased
these shares via Numis Limited.

The shares purchases have been cancelled

Rightmove has purchased, to date, 4,030,430 of its own shares since announcing
a share buy-back programme on 28 December 2007.

The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) at the
date of this announcement is 125,369,548. Rightmove holds 2,505,430 shares in
treasury.
