Rightmove plc ("Rightmove"), the UK's no. 1 property website, announces that on
14 July 2008 it purchased 100,000 of its 1p ordinary shares at a volume
weighted average price paid per share of 226.458p. The highest price paid per
share was 231.25p and the lowest price paid per share was 223.75p.

The shares purchased have been cancelled.

Rightmove has purchased, to date 11,278,430 of its own shares since announcing
a share buy-back programme on 28 December 2007.

The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) at the
date of this announcement is 118,121,548. Rightmove holds 2,505,430 shares in
treasury.
