Rolls-Royce Group plc announced today that on 5 October 2009 options to
purchase Rolls-Royce Group plc ordinary shares at an option price of £3.87 per
share were granted to persons discharging managerial responsibility (PDMR's)
under the rules of the Rolls-Royce UK and International ShareSave Plans as
