Re Contract

19 June, 2006 ROLLS-ROYCE SHARES IN V2500 ORDER FROM ILFC Rolls-Royce has won a $140 million share in an order from International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC) of the United States for V2500 engines to power up to 25 Airbus A320 airliners. The order, for 15 firm and 10 option aircraft, is backed by a lessor-direct V2500Select service contract, the first between International Aero Engines - the consortium which produces the V2500 - and ILFC. ILFC's V2500-powered fleet now totals 250 aircraft either delivered or on firm order. Rolls-Royce is a senior partner in IAE which supplies the V2500 for the A320 series, including the A319 Corporate Jet. Over 1,300 V2500-powered aircraft have been delivered.
