Change in External Directorate

Mark Rolfe, non-executive director of The Sage Group plc, has been appointed to
the board of Barratt Developments Plc ("Barratt") as non- executive director
from 1st May 2008. Mr Rolfe will also serve on the Audit and Nominations
Committees.

Other than as stated above, there are no further details to disclose under
Listing Rule 9.6.14.
