The Sage Group plc ("Sage") announces that Andrew Corbin has resigned from his
position of President and Chief Executive Officer, Sage Software Healthcare.
Sage Software Healthcare, previously named Emdeon Practice Services and one of
Sage's four operating divisions in North America, was acquired in September
2006 and provides software and services to doctors and small clinics in the US.
In the six months ended 31 March 2007 this division recorded revenues of £79.6
million and EBITA of £4.0 million.
Ron Verni, Chief Executive Officer, Sage North America and a director of The
Sage Group plc, becomes Acting President and Chief Executive of the division
with immediate effect.
An announcement regarding the permanent succession plan for the role will be
made in due course.
Sage Software Healthcare continues to perform in line with management's
expectations.

Andrew Corbin joined Sage with the acquisition of Emdeon Practice Services in
September 2006. Prior to joining Sage, he served as chief financial officer and
executive vice president of Emdeon Corporation, as well as chief executive
officer of Emdeon Practice Services. Before joining Emdeon, Mr. Corbin served
in senior financial positions at The Bisys Group, Inc
