Amendments to Sampo plc's Articles of Association entered into the Trade
Register
The amendments to the Articles of Association approved by the Annual General
Meeting of Sampo plc have been entered into the Finnish Trade Register today.
Sampo plc AGM decided on the changes to the Articles of Association on 12 April
2007.
The amendments concern Article 4, Article 5 paragraph 1, Article 6, Article 7,
Article 9, Article 10, Article 11, Article 13, Article 14, Article 15, Article
16, Article 17 paragraph 2, Article 19, Article 20 and Article 22 of the
Articles of Association. The most significant changes were the deletion of
provisions concerning the amount of share capital and the number of shares and
the addition of a new provision that the company shall have one Auditor, which
must be a firm of Authorised Public Accountants.
