Angie Risley appointed as Non-Executive Director of Serco Group plc

Serco Group plc (Serco), the leading international service company, is pleased
to announce the appointment of Angie Risley as a Non-Executive Director with
effect from 1 April 2011.

Angie Risley, 52, is Group Human Resources Director of Lloyds Banking Group plc
and a member of its executive committee, with responsibility for developing
group-wide people practices for over 110,000 employees. Previously, she was an
executive director of Whitbread PLC until May 2007, having joined the Whitbread
Group in 1989. She has also been a non-executive director of both Biffa plc and
Arriva plc.

Angie will also be a member of the Remuneration Committee and in due course
will succeed as Chair when Leonard Broese van Groenou completes his current
term in 2012.

Alastair Lyons, Chairman, Serco Group plc, said: "I am delighted that Angie has

varied experience will be of enormous benefit."

In accordance with the Listing Rules, there are no additional matters that
would require disclosure under LR 9.6.13 R (1) to (6) in relation to Ms
Risley's appointment.
