Director Declaration

Severn Trent Plc (the "Company") has received notification that with effect
from 24 September 2009 Dr Bernard Bulkin, a non-executive director of the
Company, has resigned from the board of AEA Technology plc. This notification
is provided in accordance with LR 9.6.14.
