Appointment of non-executive directors
St Ives plc announces the appointment of David Best and Richard Stillwell as
non-executive directors with effect from 1 September 2006.
David Best (aged 55), a chartered accountant, was formerly group finance
director of Xansa plc. Previously he was finance director of Lucas Management
Systems Ltd and had held various senior positions at Lockheed Martin
Corporation. David is currently the non-executive chairman of SHL Group plc and
holds non-executive directorships of Servista Ltd, a private company in the
software development field, and Plasmon PLC, a technology company specialising
in archival solutions.
Richard Stillwell (aged 57) is a practising barrister and holds non-executive
directorships with BBA Group plc and Penna Consulting plc. Until 2000 Richard
was executive vice president of ICI plc, where he had held various posts since
1974.
