St Ives plc - Changes in Board Responsibilities
The Board of St Ives announces that in future the Group will be managed as
three operating segments, namely Media Products, Commercial Products and USA.
In respect of the 52 weeks ending 28 July 2006 and thereafter, segmental sales
and operating profit will be reported in this way.
The following changes in Board responsibilities reflect the new segmental
structure: Brian Edwards will remain as Group Managing Director with overall
responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Group, but with particular
responsibility for Commercial Products, serving the direct response,
commercial, and point-of-sale markets in the UK and financial markets
worldwide; Wayne Angstrom continues to have responsibility for the Group's US
businesses, serving commercial, point-of-sale and magazine markets; and Pat
Martell will become Managing Director Media Products, responsible for the book,
magazine and multimedia markets mainly in the UK. As part of this new structure
Miles Emley's role as Chairman will become part-time. The new structure
announced today will take place with immediate effect.
