St Ives plc - Board appointment
The board of St Ives plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Gordon
as a non-executive director of the Company with effect from today. Ben will
serve on the Company's Audit, Remuneration and Nominations Committees with
immediate effect.
Ben spent nine years as CEO of Mothercare Plc until 2011 and the previous three
years as senior vice president and managing director, Disney Store, Europe and
Asia Pacific. Ben has previously held senior positions within W.H. Smith Group
in the UK and USA and with L'Oreal S.A. in France and the UK. Ben is a
non-executive director of Britvic plc.
Commenting on the appointment, Richard Stillwell, Chairman said:
"Ben's extensive retail and brand experience will be of enormous assistance to
the Board as we continue to reshape the St Ives business. We look forward to
his contribution."
