In accordance with paragraph 9.6.14 of the Listing Rules, Spectris plc
announces that Peter Chambré, Non-Executive Director, has been appointed a
non-executive director of Imperial Innovations Group plc. His appointment is
conditional upon the passing of the resolution to adopt new articles of
association at the forthcoming General Meeting on 19 June 2014. Mr Chambré's
appointment will become effective immediately on that date following the
passing of the resolution.
