In accordance with paragraph 9.6.14R of the Listing Rules, Spectris plc
announces that Martha Wyrsch, Non-Executive Director, was appointed as a
director of San Diego Gas & Electric Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of
Sempra Energy which has public debt, with effect from 20 January 2015. Spectris
plc was notified of the appointment on 24 February 2015.
