On 19 April 2013, awards granted on 8 March 2010 under the Spectris Performance
Share Plan to a director and person discharging managerial responsibilities
were exercised.  The Company was informed by the individual below of the
transaction on 19 April 2013. The awards were granted in the form of nominal
cost options with an exercise price of 5 pence per share.  The awards became
exercisable on 8 March 2013 for a period of 7 years.
