                   SPECTRIS TO HOLD INVESTOR & ANALYST FORUM                   

Spectris plc, the precision instrumentation and controls company, announces
that it will be holding a Forum for institutional investors and analysts on
Thursday 5 June in London.

At the Forum, members of the Spectris management team will provide an overview
of the Company, including presentations from various Spectris operating
businesses. No new trading information will be provided.
