Trading Update
Spirent plc (LSE: SPT; NYSE: SPM), a leading international network technology
company, announces that it expects to report a modest improvement in revenues
and return on sales generated by ongoing businesses in the first half of 2002
compared with the second half of 2001.
The performance for the first half of 2002 has been achieved through the
introduction of new products and the development of new markets against a
background of continuing difficult market conditions.
The company plans to announce its interim results for the first half of 2002 on
28 August 2002.
