                   US$1.2 million of new AIS Orders Received                   

Software Radio Technology plc ("SRT" or the "Company") is pleased to announce
that in the last week it has received new orders from existing customers for
its AIS Class A product worth a total of US$1.2 million.

Simon Tucker, SRT's Chief Executive Officer, said: "Earlier this month we
reported that our order book stood at US$6.6 million which we are now working
to deliver to our customers. These new orders worth US$1.2m continue to
demonstrate the growing demand for AIS in the global market place."
