                            Trading Halt on the ASX                            

Range Resources Ltd (the "Company") reports that trading in its shares on the
ASX has been halted pending the release of an announcement, which is expected
to be made prior to the opening of the market on Tuesday 22 July. Trading in
the shares of the Company will continue on the AIM market during this period.
