                      Change in Significant Shareholding                       

Range Resources Limited (the "Company") wishes to advise that it has been
notified by Firebird Global Master Fund Ltd (the "Fund I"), Firebird Global
Master Fund II Ltd (the "Fund II"), FGS Advisors, LLC (the "Advisor I") and FG2
Advisors, LLC (the "Advisors II") - collectively the "Firebird Group" that
their interest in the issued ordinary share capital of the Company has
increased from 11,668,557 shares (6.50%) to 17,448,633 (8.76%).
