STRATEGIC EQUITY CAPITAL PLC

Strategic Equity Capital plc ("the Company") was informed on 26 February 2013
that Stuart Widdowson, Investment Director at SVG Investment Managers, the
Investment Manager of the Company, and persons connected to Mr Widdowson had on
that day purchased an aggregate of 54,000 Ordinary 10 pence shares of the
Company as follows:

  * 31,000 shares purchased through a SIPP in Mr Widdowson's name
   
  * 8,000 shares purchased through an ISA in Mr Widdowson's name
   
  * 6,000 shares purchased through a SIPP in the name of Mrs Anna Widdowson
   
  * 7,000 shares purchased through an ISA in the name of Mrs Anna Widdowson
   
  * 800 shares purchased by Nicholas Widdowson
   
  * 800 shares purchased by Patrick Widdowson
   
All shares were purchased at a price of 100 pence per share with the exception
of the 800 shares purchased by Nicholas Widdowson which were purchased at a
price of 99.89 pence per share.

Following these transactions, Stuart Widdowson and connected persons are
interested in a total of 124,000 Ordinary 10 pence shares (representing 0.1919%
of the shares in issue), as follows:

Stuart Widdowson - 109,400 shares (81,400 of which are held in a SIPP)

Anna Widdowson - 13,000 shares (of which 6,000 are held in a SIPP and 7,000 in an ISA)

Nicholas Widdowson - 800 shares

Patrick Widdowson - 800 shares
