STRATEGIC EQUITY CAPITAL PLC

Strategic Equity Capital plc ("the Company") was informed on 5 March 2015 that
Stuart Widdowson, Strategic Fund Manager at GVO Investment Management Limited,
the Investment Manager of the Company had on 4 March 2015 purchased an
aggregate of 20,000 Ordinary 10 pence shares of the Company at a price of
192.75 pence per share.

Following this transaction, Stuart Widdowson and connected persons are
interested in a total of 625,100 Ordinary 10 pence shares (representing 1.08%
of the shares in issue), as follows:

Stuart Widdowson - 420,250 shares (of which 352,400 are held in a SIPP)

Anna Widdowson - 193,350 shares (of which 18,000 are held in a SIPP)

Nicholas Widdowson - 6,100 shares

Patrick Widdowson - 5,400 shares
