The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Jo Dixon as a non-executive 
Director of the Company with effect from 14 July 2014.

Ms Dixon has substantial investment trust board experience and is currently on
the boards of Worldwide Healthcare Trust PLC, Baring Emerging Europe PLC,
Standard Life Equity Income Trust plc and JP Morgan European Investment Trust
plc.

Ms Dixon holds no other publicly quoted directorships.

The Company confirms that there are no further details or disclosures required
under LR 9.6.13R (2-6) of the Financial Conduct Authority Listing Rules.

The Board also announces that, having served as a non-executive director of the
Company since 2007, Michael Phillips has resigned from the Board with immediate
effect, owing to his other commitments.
