SVM UK Emerging Fund plc (the "Company")

At the General Meeting held on 13 September 2013, the shareholders approved the
proposed changes to the benchmark and the investment objective.

With effect from 30 September 2013, the benchmark is the IMA UK All Companies
Sector Average Index and the investment objective of the Fund is long term
capital growth from investments in smaller UK companies. Its aim is to
outperform the IMA UK All Companies Sector Average Index on a total return
basis.
