             Resolutions passed at the 2010 Annual General Meeting             

The Board of SVM UK Emerging Fund plc is pleased to announce that at the AGM
held in Edinburgh on 16 July 2010, all of the proposed resolutions set out in
the Notice calling the Meeting were passed unanimously.

In particular, Resolution 10 to approve the continuation of the Company as an
investment trust for a further five years was passed.
