                              Notifiable Interest                              

Silentpoint was notified earlier today that, following a purchase of 100,000
Ordinary 2p Shares in Silentpoint, Suffolk Life Annuities Limited now holds
854,286 ordinary Shares, equivalent to 4.88 per cent. of the issued share
capital of the Company. These shares are legally and beneficially owned by
Suffolk Life Annuities Limited but form part of various self-invested personal
pension schemes, including 664,286 Ordinary Shares which are held in respect of
Dr Hywel Thomas's self-invested personal pension.
