Silentpoint was notified on 15th March, 2005 that, following a purchase of
50,000 Ordinary Shares in Silentpoint, Mr JD Hamilton Hargreave has an interest
in 550,000 ordinary shares representing 3.14 per cent. of the issued share
capital of the Company.

These shares are held as follows; 500,000 ordinary shares registered in the
name of Hargreave Hale Nominees Limited, 50,000 registered in the name of John
Hall Special Needs Trust, in which Mr Hargreave has a non-beneficial interest.
