Temple Bar Investment Trust PLC (the Company) wishes to announce that Mr Martin
Riley has decided to retire as a director. He was due to have been re-elected
as a director at the Company's AGM earlier today but due to ongoing and
developing health issues Mr Riley decided that it would not be appropriate for
him to continue serving as a director. His resignation as a director takes
effect from 30 March 2015. The Board expresses its regret at the loss of Mr
Riley, who has provided invaluable advice and guidance over recent years based
on his vast experience of investment related matters.
The Company is also pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Lesley Sherratt
to the Board with effect from 1 April 2015. Dr Sherratt has many years'
experience in the investment company sector and the Board is confident that she
will make a significant contribution to Temple Bar in the coming years.
It is confirmed that there are no matters requiring disclosure under paragraph
9.6.13 (2) to (6) of the Listing Rules. Dr Sherratt has not been a director of
any publicly quoted companies in the past five years.
