Tullett Prebon plc
Board change
The Board of Tullett Prebon plc announces that Lou Scotto has decided to stand
down from the Board, and will relinquish his role as Chief Executive Officer of
the Company's IDB business.
This Board change follows the demerger of Collins Stewart which leaves Tullett
Prebon as the sole business division of the Company.
Lou will remain with Tullett Prebon and become Chief Executive Officer for the
Americas.
In this new role, in addition to overseeing the further growth of Tullett
Prebon's business throughout the Americas, Lou will take specific
responsibility for two core initiatives which are at the heart of the Company's
business development plan:
* TradeBlade, Tullett Prebon's electronic trading platform, which was
launched in January 2006.
* The integration of Chapdelaine Corporate Securities & Co. the acquisition
of which was completed on 11 January 2007. Chapdelaine is a
long-established New York business which provides brokerage services in
corporate bonds, credit derivatives, mortgage backed securities and
equities. Once fully integrated into Tullett Prebon Chapdelaine will both
deepen and strengthen the Company's capabilities in North America,
particularly in the important Credit area.
Terry Smith remains the Chief Executive Officer of the Company.
