Board Appointment
Electra Private Equity PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Francesca
Barnes as a non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect.
Francesca Barnes recently retired from a 27 year career in finance, the last
seven of which were spent as Global Head of Private Equity for UBS, where she
was responsible for the global private equity practice. She worked for Chase
Manhattan for 11 years in the UK and US and then joined Swiss Bank/UBS working
in restructuring, loan portfolio management and ultimately running the global
private equity business.
Ms Barnes now pursues a portfolio of activities in both the commercial and
voluntary sectors, including non-executive director of Coutts and Company;
non-executive director of Capvis private equity; Chair of Governors of the
Bridge Academy, Hackney; Chair of Trustees of Penny Brohn Cancer Care and
IntoUniversity Advisory Board.
There is no information concerning Ms Barnes which is required to be disclosed
pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13 R of the Listing Rules.
