Unicorn AIM VCT plc announces that on 4 May 2006 it purchased 250,000 Ordinary
Fund Shares at a price of 90.5 pence per share for cancellation.

Following this purchase there are now 32,294,234 Ordinary Shares of 1 pence and
15,743,314 Series 2 Ordinary Shares in issue.
