Further to the announcement on 22 November 2010, regarding the appointment of
Steve Mogford to the board of United Utilities Group PLC with effect from 5
January 2011. The following disclosures are made in accordance with Listing
Rule 9.6.13: Steve Mogford is a non-executive director of Carillion PLC, and
was a director of BAE Systems PLC until May 2007; thereafter, there are no
further details to disclose under Listing Rule 9.6.13 (2) to (6).
