United Utilities wins contract with Southern Water

UNITED UTILITIES WINS NEW CAPITAL DELIVERY CONTRACT
WITH SOUTHERN WATER
United Utilities announces that the 4D consortium, in which it has a 40 per
cent share, has won a new capital delivery contract with Southern Water to
manage the design and build of a new wastewater treatment works in the Brighton
and Hove area.
The £225 million contract will begin with immediate effect. The construction
phase is expected to take approximately three years, followed by the potential
for a two year contract to operate and maintain the new plant.
Chief Executive of United Utilities, Philip Green, said:

infrastructure outsourcing company in the UK, delivering further growth through
applying our core skills on an asset-light basis."
