     Convertible Preference Share Investment in Rosslyn Analytics Limited      

                  Placing to raise £115,000 at 1.0p per share

Vela Technologies plc is pleased to announce a proposed investment of £100,002
by way of subscription for 32,716 Convertible "A" Preference Shares in Rosslyn
Analytics Limited ("Rosslyn Analytics"), being just under 0.7 per cent. Rosslyn
Analytics' issue share capital. Operating out of London, Rosslyn Analytics
provides a cloud-based data analysis platform which allows its customers and
partners to use a single cloud platform for analysis and data management,
providing a foundation for organisations and their key strategic decisions,
potentially stretching resources, adding value and enabling faster exploitation
of new technologies . The platform allows data capture and collation from many
sources, advanced data cleansing to improve accuracy and relevance, enrichment
by automatic connection of enterprise data with external business sources to
provide enhanced business value and a "360° view" of the enterprise and data
visualisation through user friendly graphical interfaces, report building
wizards and statistical and predictive modelling tools.

The investment is to be funded by a placing of 11,500,000 new Ordinary Shares
of 0.1p each at a price of 1.0 pence per share.
