The Board of Walcom Group Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of
Professor Hong Xun Yang as an executive director of the Company with immediate
effect.

Professor Yang joined the Company as the chief technical officer in May 2007
and was also appointed as chief operating officer for the PRC region in April
2012. Professor Yang is a specialist in the animal feed industry, with
extensive experience in feed production management and animal farming
optimisation formulation.

Professor Hong Xun Yang, aged 55, is a director of Shanghai Walcom Bio-chem Co.
Limited. Professor Yang holds 220,000 ordinary shares in the Company,
equivalent to 0.32 per cent. of the issued share capital and options over
1,590,000 ordinary shares. Of which, 90,000 options have an exercise price of
11p and are exercisable at any time until 16 July 2013 and the remaining
1,500,000 options have an exercise price of 7p and are exercisable from 9 June
2012 until 8 June 2020.

Professor Yang has confirmed that there is no additional information to be
disclosed in accordance with Schedule 2, paragraph (g) of the AIM rules.
