In fulfilment of an obligation imposed by DTR 3.1.4R(1)(a), on 26 February
2007, Wincanton plc received notification from Victor Strafford, a Person
Discharging Managerial Responsibility, that he exercised 20,000 Executive Share
Options on 26 February 2007 at an exercise price of £1.93. On the same day, he
sold all of the resulting 20,000 Ordinary 10 pence shares, which represents
less than 1% of the Issued Share Capital of the Company, at a price of £
3.827205 per share on the London Stock Exchange. Following this notification,
Victor holds executive Share Options over a further 90,000 Ordinary 10 pence
shares of the Company.
