Gas Turbine Services Chief Executive

John Wood Group PLC ('Wood Group') is pleased to announce that Mark Papworth
has joined its Board as Group Director responsible for Gas Turbine Services.
Mark joined Wood Group a year ago from Rolls-Royce Energy and in December was
appointed Chief Executive of the Gas Turbines Division.

Allister Langlands, who had taken over the responsibility for the Gas Turbine
Services activities some two years ago, now reverts fulltime to his role as
Group Deputy Chief Executive.
