John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group") update on the proposed acquisition of PSN
Wood Group, the international energy services company, welcomes today's
announcement by the OFT not to refer Wood Group's proposed acquisition of PSN
to the Competition Commission. The full decision of the OFT is expected to be
published in the next few weeks and Wood Group now expects completion of the
acquisition to take place towards the end of April subject to, among other
things, satisfactory completion of the UK merger control process or waiver of
that condition by Wood Group.
