Conversion of Subscription Shares

Finsbury Worldwide Pharmaceutical Trust PLC has applied for the listing of
696,505 ordinary shares of 25p each (the "Shares") following the exercise of
696,505 subscription shares at 614p per share in the period to the exercise
date of 1 February 2010. The Shares will rank pari passu with the Company's
existing Shares. Following the exercise the Company's issued share capital will
comprise 45,334,984 Shares with voting rights attaching and a further 5,241,188
Shares held in Treasury.

It is expected that admission to the Official List and commencement of dealings
in the Shares on the London Stock Exchange will take place at 8.00 a.m. on 9
February 2010.
