Exercise of subscription share rights

Worldwide Healthcare Trust PLC (the "Company") has allotted 2,457,096 ordinary
shares of 25p each (the "Shares") following the exercise of 2,457,096
subscription share rights in the period to the exercise date of 31 July 2012.
Following the allotment the Company's issued share capital comprises 45,526,475
Shares with voting rights attaching and a further 192,437 Shares are held in
Treasury. There are also 2,434,168 subscription shares in issue.

Applications have been made for the new Shares to be admitted to the Official
List of the UK Listing Authority and for admission to trading on the main
market of the London Stock Exchange. It is expected that admission to the
Official List and commencement of dealings in the Shares on the London Stock
Exchange will take place at 8.00 a.m. on 7 August 2012. The Shares will rank
pari passu with the Company's existing Shares.
