Voting Rights and Capital

In accordance with the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and
Transparency Rules, Finsbury Worldwide Pharmaceutical Trust PLC announces the
following:

As at 31 January 2010, Finsbury Worldwide Pharmaceutical Trust PLC's capital
consists of ordinary shares of 25p, with each ordinary share holding one voting
right and also subscription shares conferring the right to subscribe for
ordinary shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue is 49,879,667.
The Company has 5,241,188 ordinary shares in Treasury. The total number of
subscription shares in issue is 9,688,812.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Finsbury Worldwide
Pharmaceutical Trust PLC is 44,638,479.

The above figure (44,638,479) may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to
notify their interest in Finsbury Worldwide Pharmaceutical Trust PLC, or a
change to their interest in Finsbury Worldwide Pharmaceutical Trust PLC, under
the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
