Erin Johnson Named Chief Communications Officer...

Bob Jeffrey, Worldwide CEO and Chairman of JWT, the largest advertising
agency in the U.S. and fourth largest in the world, announced today that Erin
Johnson has been promoted to the role of Chief Communications Officer.
In this role, Johnson will work with the Worldwide Executive Committee to
facilitate the agency's macro business objectives. She will lead JWT's
marketing communications and will be responsible for building a strategy to
strengthen and grow the JWT brand globally.
"Erin will partner with our regional and local heads of office to
identify, shape and narrate JWT's many important stories. She will also
spearhead our Worldwide PR Council, which will harness the collective power
of our PR professionals around the world to continue to enhance our
reputation," said Jeffrey.
Johnson brings 14 years of experience in the advertising, marketing and
corporate communications fields. She joined JWT in August 2005 as Director of
Corporate Communications, JWT New York, and was promoted to Director of
Communications, JWT North America, shortly thereafter. Johnson joined JWT
from the Kaplan Thaler Group in New York, where she was Director, KTG Buzz.
At KTG Buzz, she ideated and executed non-traditional marketing programs for
U.S. Bank, Aflac, TBS and more.
Johnson also spent six years as Director of Corporate Communications for
kirshenbaum bond + partners. During her tenure, she built PR and promotions
programs for high profile brands including PUMA, Stolichnaya, TIMEX, The Meow
Mix Company, Rockport and the SciFi Channel.
Johnson began her career in the publicity department at Miramax, where
she worked on the launches of Good Will Hunting, Scream, Sling Blade, The
English Patient, Sliding Doors and Shakespeare in Love, to name a few.
