XP Power plc ("XP" or "the Company")
Transaction in Own Shares
Pursuant to the Company's share option scheme, 10,300 options have been
exercised today. The Company has met this requirement for shares by the issue
of 10,300 shares from its holding in treasury.
Following the disposal of these shares, the Company's capital consists of
20,704,621 ordinary shares with voting rights. XP holds 1,476,575 shares in
Treasury, therefore the total number of voting rights in XP is 19,228,046.
The above figure (19,228,046) may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to
notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in XP under the FSA's
Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
For reporting purposes under section 198 of the Companies Act 1985, the market
should exclude any shares held in treasury.
