Discretionary Voting Rights
In connection with the Avisen annual general meeting to be held at 11.00 a.m. on 25 August 2009 (the "Meeting" or the "AGM"), the Company announces that it has now received the final proxy votes. Jon Claydon, Chairman of the Meeting, will be holding the following discretionary voting rights on behalf of shareholders of the Company who have chosen Mr Claydon as their proxy (the "Voting Rights");

The Voting Rights will be granted to Mr Claydon upon commencement of the AGM, for the sole purpose of voting on Resolutions 1 to 12 at the Meeting. Immediately upon conclusion of the AGM, Mr Claydon will no longer hold the Voting Rights and will only hold voting rights in respect of his own holding, amounting to 1,729,170 ordinary shares, representing 1.22 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
