3i Group plc - Investor Day

3i Group plc, the international investor focused on private equity, infrastructure and debt management, will today be presenting to analysts and investors.

The principal purpose of the day is for the Leadership Team of 3i to provide greater insight into the private equity, infrastructure and debt management businesses and discuss the opportunities for the business in Asia and the Americas.

3i last commented on current trading with its full year results on 12 May 2011. During today's presentation, no new trading information will be provided.

The Group will provide its next update on current trading in an interim management statement scheduled to be released on 6 July 2011.

The Investor Day will be audio cast live on www.3iGroup.com. Registration for the audio cast will be available from 09:15 today and the presentations will begin at 09:30.

The presentation materials will be available on the Company's website from 14:00.
