regarding Mr Oliver Stocken, a non-executive Director of the Company:
     
1)   Home Retail Group plc, a company of which Mr Stocken is a director, had its 
     shares admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange with effect from 11
     October 2006; and

2)   Mr Stocken ceased to be a director of GUS plc with effect from 11 October 
     2006.
