On 27 May 2009, 3i Group plc (the 'Company') was notified that on 27 May 2009 110,788 and 75,050 ordinary shares of 73 19/22p each in the Company ('Shares') beneficially owned by Jonathan Russell and Paul Waller respectively, being persons discharging managerial responsibilities, were sold at a price of 415p per Share on their release from the 3i Group Deferred Bonus Plan. The transactions took place on the London Stock Exchange.
