Pursuant to the rules of The Group Discretionary Share Plan, on 15 June 2009 the following individuals, being Directors / persons discharging managerial responsibilities ('PDMRs') of 3i Group plc (the 'Company') were each granted the right (the 'Option') to acquire the number of ordinary shares of 73 19/22p each ('Shares') of the Company detailed against their name below subject to a performance condition. The Option is exercisable from and including 15 June 2012 at a price of 277p per Share and shall lapse on 14 June 2019.  The consideration for each of the grants was nil.
